Terms of Service for Templator

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using Templator (the “App”), a mobile application operated by Bakker Technologies (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading, installing, or using Templator, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Templator, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Templator is an iOS application that lets you create reusable task templates and dispatch them to todo apps. The App:
- Allows you to build structured task templates with sections and dynamic variables
- Dispatches templates to Apple Reminders or Things 3
- Syncs your templates across devices via iCloud
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Templator. By using the App, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 13 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- Your use of the App will not violate any applicable law or regulation
4. Use of the App
Permitted Use
You may use Templator for personal and professional purposes in accordance with these Terms.
Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App’s functionality
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
5. In-App Purchases
Templator offers optional in-app purchases (“Pro”) that unlock additional features. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. All purchases are subject to Apple’s terms and refund policies.
Subscription management is handled via RevenueCat. No personal payment information is stored by us.
6. Third-Party Integrations
Templator integrates with Apple Reminders and Things 3 for task dispatch. These integrations require your permission and are subject to the respective third-party terms of service. We are not responsible for the functionality or availability of third-party apps.
7. Data and Privacy
Templator stores your template data on your device and in your private iCloud container. We do not have access to your templates or personal data. For details, please review our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BAKKER TECHNOLOGIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
10. Intellectual Property
Templator and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Bakker Technologies and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not use our trademarks, logos, or other proprietary information without our prior written consent.
11. App Store Terms
Templator is available through the Apple App Store. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple’s App Store Terms of Service. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Apple’s terms, Apple’s terms will govern with respect to App Store-related matters.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
