Privacy Policy for Fast Reminders: Quick Add

Fast Reminders: Quick Add (“Fast Reminders”) is built to collect nothing. This Privacy Policy explains what the app accesses on your iPhone, and why.

Data We Collect

None. Fast Reminders has no account, no server and no analytics. We do not collect, store, sell or share any personal information or usage data, and the app contains no third-party SDKs or advertising.

Apple Reminders

Fast Reminders saves what you type into Apple Reminders through Apple’s EventKit framework. To do this, iOS asks you to grant access to Reminders the first time you save. The app reads your lists so you can choose one, and writes the reminders you create. It can also delete a reminder it just created when you tap Undo.

Your reminders are stored by the Reminders app on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your iCloud account. They are never sent to us. Apple manages Reminders and iCloud in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Location

Location is only used for location-based reminders, such as “when I get home”:

  • Current Location. If you choose Current Location for a reminder, the app asks for permission to use your location while the app is open, reads it once, and saves it with that reminder in Apple Reminders.
  • Place search. When you search for a place, the search text is sent to Apple Maps to find matching addresses. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
  • Saved places. Places you save, such as Home and Work, are stored on your device only.

Fast Reminders never tracks your location in the background and never sends it to us.

Settings Stored on Your Device

Your preferences (default list, quick buttons, smart lists, saved places and colour) are stored locally on your iPhone and shared with the app’s own widgets. They are not sent anywhere.

Purchases

The optional Fast Reminders Pro purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. The app only checks with Apple whether Pro has been purchased on your Apple Account.

Children’s Privacy

Fast Reminders does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Data Deletion

Reminders you created stay in Apple Reminders, where you can edit or delete them at any time. Deleting Fast Reminders removes its settings and saved places from your device. Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to delete.

Changes to This Privacy Policy
