Templator is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected when you use the app and how it is used.

Data We Collect

Templator collects anonymous usage data to help us understand how the app is used so we can improve it.

This may include:

  • App usage events (e.g. screens viewed, features used)
  • Device information (model, operating system version)
  • App version
  • Approximate location (country level, derived from IP address)
  • Session information (session duration, number of sessions)
  • An anonymous app instance identifier

This data is not linked to your name, email, or any personally identifiable information.

Your App Data

All template data you create in Templator is stored on your device and in your private iCloud container (via Apple’s CloudKit). This data syncs across your devices using your own iCloud account and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

We do not have access to your iCloud data. Apple manages iCloud storage and sync in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

Templator uses the following third-party services:

Firebase Analytics

Anonymous usage analytics are processed by Google Firebase. For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy.

RevenueCat

In-app subscription management is handled by RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier to manage your subscription status. No personal information is shared. For more information, see RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.

Apple CloudKit

Template data syncs via Apple’s CloudKit framework using your iCloud account. This data is stored in your private iCloud container and is not accessible to us. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Security

The app uses standard iOS security features to protect your locally stored data. iCloud data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple.

Children’s Privacy

Templator does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The anonymous usage data we collect does not include any personally identifiable information.

Data Deletion

Your template data is stored locally and in your private iCloud container. You can delete it at any time by deleting the app or removing the data from iCloud.

Anonymous analytics data is managed by our analytics providers in accordance with their data retention policies.
